Yet again, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have been locked in a moment!
Lopez revealed her engagement in a video clip posted to her fan-based newsletter, The JLo, which she published on The JLo, in which she gazes in adoration at the ring, which is green in hue. “You’re perfect,” Lopez declares in a voiceover while romantic music plays. Lopez posted a teaser of her “exciting and special” announcement on Facebook earlier Friday.

Lopez, 52, and Affleck, 49, were rumored to be engaged earlier this week when she was photographed wearing a wedding ring on her finger while shopping in LA with her 14-year-old daughter Emme Lopez’s green diamond ring in the video.
People close to Affleck recently told Page Six they wouldn’t be surprised if he proposed another time. The couple began dating in 2002 and were soon named “Bennifer” by fans and media alike. They were certainly not unwilling to show their affection for one another during that time, such as in the scenes of PDA that Lopez filmed in her “Jenny From the Block” music video.
In November, Affleck proposed to Lopez with a 6.01-carat pink diamond from Harry Winston. The huge sparkler was reported to be priced at $2.5 million.
Lopez talked about her first marriage during a visit along with Diane Sawyer during the 2000s, in which she portrayed her life partner as “splendidly shrewd, cherishing, enchanting and friendly.” She later described her stunning rings as “the most glorious thing I’ve seen.” The consideration paid by the media brought about the couple’s postponing and, afterward, canceling their wedding in 2003. “Because of the exorbitant media considerations encompassing their wedding, “we have chosen to defer the date,” the couple reported in a declaration mutually.
“When we seriously contemplated hiring three separate ‘decoy brides’ at three different locations, we realized that something was awry.” The report continued, “We started to realize that the essence of what was supposed to be the most enjoyable moment of our lives might be damaged.
We were worried that something supposed to be an unforgettable day could be ruined for our families, us, and acquaintances. ” Lopez decided to end her engagement in the early part of 2004 and got married to musician Marc Anthony by June. The couple would later be blessed with twins, Max and Emme, in 2008. Then, Affleck moved on with Jennifer Garner. He got married to Jennifer Garner in 2005, and they welcomed three kids together.
The daughters, Violet and Seraphina, and Samuel, his son. Samuel. Both their marriages ended in divorce. However, they did have a second marriage, with Lopez getting into a second romantic flurry in 2017 with Alex Rodriguez. To his credit, Affleck was also linked to numerous women, including “Knives Out” star Ana De Armas, until their Jan. 20, 2021 separation. After Lopez split with A-Rod, Affleck immediately stepped into the picture and made a comeback as the pop star.
The couple – who recently put up $50 million for the Bel Air mansion – has continued to thrive since. “I don’t think anybody was more surprised than us,” the “Marry Me” star admitted on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” in February. “You couldn’t have imagined that this could be happening. It’s an amazing thing.”
